The rose garden is beautiful when in bloom and seeing the historical buildings is very nice too. You can get married in the rose garden.

Just a park which is not a negative. There is an older ranch house and peacocks, toys, ballfields and ramadas. It is a good park if that is what you are looking for.

We rented out one of the buildings here for a large gathering. Plenty of parking available. The hall we rented had a section where you could prepare for your party, including 2 large refrigerator/freezers. The main room was big enough to handle more than 100...More

I love this place, but sadly, people have come to destroyed it over the years. Love going to see the peacocks running around the corn fields, and fig trees.

I was there on a day when there was an air quality advisory in Phoenix/Glendale so not the best day. Hazy, hot, and humid. Few cars there, ample parking, and an overflow lot that opens up for special events. Easy access from parking through the...More

It's a good place to walk or bike to in Glendale. My favorite part is the rose garden. There are peacocks, chickens, and cats walking around. The area is beautiful year round.

We are very lucky that Glendale has preserved the memory of this ranch within its city limits. This beautiful place, its awe inspiring plants, animals and historical structures come to life with the historical plaques located throughout.

Be sure to spend time here with your family, especially when the old ranch home is open. The rose garden in spring is beautiful, and there are many festivals held here each year.

Nice place to stroll around and check out the buildings and the rose garden. Wonderful grassy areas for a picnic or just mellow atmosphere. A good example of a ranch in the late 1800s and on. Parking was ample and walking thru the old farm...More

It has been a short while since I have been there, but never thought to pick the fruit. The park has several park rangers and you can ask them.
