Built in 420BC and named after Greek goddess Athena Nike. Such a old building now only left its sandstone pillars. When you visit Acropolis the Temple of Athena is built on south west corner of the site.

This is theTemple of Athena built on a top of a hill with a marvelous sea view. Easy access. Wear sturdy shoes as the ground is rough! Athena daughter of Zeus, was the protector of Assos!
