The monastery is an architectural wonder with three beautiful courtyards or cloisters and the tomb of the king's son among the treasures that make a visit here worthwhile.

The monastery is a really must-see if you are around Avila. The building is really nice with the three cloisters, the chorus and the tomb of Prince Juan. It is also very relevant from historic point of view

A beautiful monastery with idyllic cloisters. The oriental art collection is an unexpected treat. Well worth the short walk down from the old town.
