A short stroll across the river and well worth a visit. The paintings inside are stunning. This church is frequently used for worship, but you can go inside if there is a service going on, as long as you are respectfully dressed. Also, photos should...More

Sighisoara is such a pleasure to visit with so much tomsee that it's probably harsh of me to rate this as a three... but compared to other attractions in The old town this rates medium. It's a lovely church that is relatively new compared to...More

I strolled across the river to see this church, which stands out with its distinctive exterior and size. Members of the community were silently visiting to pray inside. It’s beautiful - well worth a visit. Very quiet and peaceful place of prayer.

It's a nice church in Sighisoara located on the Tarnava Mare River. You can admire its architecture and take some beautiful pictures there. Worth stopping by.

Located on the Tarnava Mare River, across from the medieval city, is this very dominating orthodox church. Its sheer size tempted us to enter, the dome is a sight to behold. Definitely worth a look if in the vicinity.

From the river it was looking fantastic. This colorful Orthodox church makes a great background for your photos.

I never went inside but it's a marvel to see from outside. For some reason it's not so heavily advertised in Sighisoara, but it's not a far walk, so check it out.

Even if it's located outside the citadel's walls on the Tarnava Mare's northern bank, this large Orthodox cathedral-sized church deserves a visit not only for its size, but also for the colourful interior. Even if it's not as old as the rest of the citadel's...More

Impressive looking building in a nice setting by the river. Extensively painted on all internal surfaces, walls, ceilings, with religious scenes. Very attractive.

Hi. I'm also a traveler, but I can tell you that you can visit this church and attend a mass even if you're not an Orthodox.
