We came upon a simple wine store with option to taste wines. It is not a winery. The drive from Homer to the "winery" is disappointing.

The wines are nice. There are “pure” Alaskan wines where all ingredients are from Alaska (i.e. no grapes involved ). There are also Alaskan blends with imported grapes. All were good. However, the glasses are not rinsed between tastings which seemed odd. This is a good place to stop for an hour or so on a rainy afternoon.

What a fun way to spend an hour or so - sipping tasty, local wines in a pretty setting. We learned a lot about different wines and found we actually loved some of the fruit wines (some are mixed with grapes). It was an inexpensive wine tasting and the cost went toward a bottle of wine. The gift shop was also a fun place to browse.

the inside is amazing to see and love that they use locally grown ingredients! Lots of items to purchase from local artist and craftsman as well!

We had a great time. Super casual and the host made us feel comfortable. Our host was very informative on all the wine choices. You pay $5 to try 8 samples. You have choices of the wine list that are 100% Alaska grown or some made in Alaska but infused with fruits not grown in Alaska. I think it was the Alaskan Port that you try with chocolate chips. It was good. They have a chocolate mocha wine if you like coffee. They also have some cute items for shopping.

Excellent and courtesy staff. Highly recommend the wine testing samplers. If you do not like sweet wines (I don't) this may not be your cup of tea. Most of their wines are produced from non grape fruits. I enjoyed the time because I like to try new things and in this case something I usually do not consume. We had great conversations with the staff and learned a lot about their Winery. It also a small quaint inn with 4 or 5 rooms you can stay in.

This was such a great stop. We all had a wine tasting. The tasting consist of 8 wines, but we each had 10 or 11! The wines tend to the sweet side. We found several to are liking. They shipped a box of 4 for us. Be sure to look at their specials board. Two of our favorites were there! The best part was the interaction with the staff. I don’t think I have laughed so much in a long time. Great place to visit! We will go back!

The Tasting room staff were all knowledgeable and super friendly !!
There were also "travel friendly" items for purchase ( as in lightweight and non-breakable ) !!
The tasting fee was refunded upon purchase - check it out !!

What a great little winery! For $5 you can taste unusual, delicious wines- the price goes to a bottle when you buy a few. The day we went, my husband, son and I, we were treated to a wonderful education of the area and the berries.my son and husband are. It big wine drinkers but both loved it, they said it didn’t taste like traditional wine. In the end, we left with multiple bottles. it was a great way to spend some time on a rainy day and support a local small business.

My wife and I stopped in for a tasting and wish we could have done the tour as the location is stunning! The fruit wines are also on a range of good to great, depending on your affinity for sweetness. I have an insatiable sweet tooth and found even the dry wines to be light and crisp and tasty. The tasting room is a fun space and it's worth spending $5 to taste some fruit wine. The $5 goes toward the purchase of a bottle if you decide to buy one. We ended up getting a couple bottles to enjoy in our RV on the rest of the trip. There was plenty of room to park our 24' RV.
