This museum is not for everyone - the exhibits are a little "too modern" for some, I think. That being said, it was definitely an interesting and unique experience, and I found even the displays of the art and the building itself to be fascinating....More

I liked how there was a timeline and an explanation of the beginnings of designers and advertising agencies in Costa Rica. There were a few (aprox 4) expositions available. It is interesting for people with careers or interests in design and advertising. You can see...More

Great space in total and near the pretty national park. The museum itself has some interesting exhibitions, felt like final year art student work (which was cool). I recommend.

An excellent display of the imagination and creativity of the danish artists. It is surprising to find so many things with which we live every day so cleverly designed. A real eye opening experience.

I entered this museum walking around La Sabana Park one day, didn't realize it was the old airport terminal/control tower. Beautiful woodwork in this place. The art exhibits were interesting especially the blue prints of the National Theater Construction. The statues are very interesting outside....More

This former airport terminal had tastefully been turned into a nice museum. The exhibits of a Tico artist and educator were interesting and noteworthy.

I came here on a city bus tour and it was nice. It used to be the old San Jose airport and you can still see the old infrastructure of the airport. The front and the back of the museum has cool sculptures. If you...More

Stopped in after taking a walking art tour in San Jose. The collection is small but interesting. You likely don't need to budget more than an hour or 2 max.
