Great selection of Costarican handmade crafts, coffee, t-shirts, wood animals, bags, etc We were ealking in downtown and needed to buy some things to take back home with us

There are a lot of little stalls with the variety of stuff which is clean and well ventilated. I found that most of it was the cheapest I've seen compared to the other cities. The wood items are the same price as the artisan area...More

Found the price to be a little inflated but the selection is varied and wonderful. The stall attendants were betty helpful and would negotiate price a little. Enjoyed the atmosphere of the place.

This is a very clean market for people to buy Costa Rican souvenirs. There are no fruits/veggies or anything fresh that I saw. It's a new building (Calle 5 & Av 6) with wide isles and flat floors that is easy to walk around in....More

Kim, not sure that would be the place I'd buy sunglasses. Cheaper at home. You can find a hammock there I'm sure but walk the block long market and check various prices so you get an idea of what is fair. They do bargain... More
