I ended up buying a few items. I found that some items were more expensive than you would find them elsewhere, some weren't but, due to the competition in the market itself, they were willing to bargain. I didn't like everyone trying to get me...More
There are a lot of little stalls with the variety of stuff which is clean and well ventilated. I found that most of it was the cheapest I've seen compared to the other cities. The wood items are the same price as the artisan area...More
This market has all kind of souvenirs with great prices and the environment is delicious, people are so kind and everyone gives smiles away, is nice to go to this market with your family or even by yourself. Don’t miss this market if you go...More

Kim, not sure that would be the place I'd buy sunglasses. Cheaper at home. You can find a hammock there I'm sure but walk the block long market and check various prices so you get an idea of what is fair. They do bargain there. Sorry, I must be too old to know what Pepper Pig is, or Paw Patrol is. They have a lot of sort of shirts there and I'm sure you'll be able to find something that will make her happy. This market is more Costa Rican type things like handcrafted wooden things. It is not a place with any US knock offs. So, and shopping think Costa Rica and not USA. Good shopping.
