I came here to send a few notes back home and was impressed by the exterior, which I spent some time sketching. It's also something of a gathering place out front. The post office is very orderly and the staff will set you right politely...More

This post office makes you want to send a card to your friends: gorgeous from outside and beautiful inside. Check it out while you are walking in the downtown.

The entire building is eye-catching in San José. It‘s huge after going around but very elegant in the sunshine.

The architecture is splendid, but the real fascination lies in the history of both the building & the crazy Costa Rican way of describing addresses (which does not involve building numbers or street names/numbers)

Interesting high styled building to photograph in San Jose as you wander the streets of the city. A working post office! Some shops and restaurants close by.
