If you visit San Jose, the Metropolitan Cathedral is an Icon that cannot be missed. Its old architecture is delightful, and the Holy Sacrament chapel is the right place to have some time for yourself.

If you are in the area, you can check it out, but there is nothing too much to see. People come here to pray and it probably the only calm place in the area.

This church is not as impressive as the one in Cartago from the architecture point of view but still stands out in San José.

The cathedral is traditional but it is certainly worth a visit and the ceiling is beautiful as is the superb stained glass windows.

I am sorry but I do not know the answer. I do know the gentleman who met is in the foyer spoke English so maybe a phone call would help .
