Good tour with local insights - a mix of fun facts and history! Would be good to be able to sample some local cuisine or go into one of the free museums. Also, perhaps get people to sign up initially online so that you could...More

This tour was amazing! Great insight into Costa Rican history and modern life. We did not expect to have our tummies filled to the brim with fruit, coffee, and empanadas. Excellent value, personable and intelligent guide, amazing local information. Thank you Gladys!

Showed up at the National Theater and was met at the corner by Carlos. He quickly said let's go early so we don't have a big group. Well, Carlos was horrible, I don't think he was part of the free walking tour in San Jose....More

Sorry we were on an extended tour and I just got this. The tour was in English so that shouldn't have been a problem but I think all the tours were in the morning. Hope it all worked out for you.
