Don't go unless you need an empty beach. Go to Dominical instead. Further down the road is the small town of Utiva and it's cool to go up to San Isidro de General. 1-15 degrees cooler than the beach.

This is a very nice beach, but is not safe. You will get robbed by one of the locals that do this kind of activity to all the tourists that visit this beach. In stead go to Playa Linda that is the next beach north.

Spent a half day at this beach located south of Manuel Antonio. Very few people made this a quiet place to relax. The town is also very laid back and not as busy as the more popular beaches. The sand here is a little darker...More

This is a remote location but the beaches are secluded and wonderful. We stayed at the Dreamy Contentmemt.

A truly beautiful beach. Nice swimming, quiet & uncrowded. Spectacular west coast sunsets. A laid back lil town with your basic needs, a few stores & eateries.
