We went with a group of about 10 people. You have to cross through the river initially, so if you wear shoes it is a good idea to take them off at this point. Many people are warning about flip flops, however it is very...More

We decided to go here in our stay in santa teresa. We rented a car so it was easy for us to go here. You can also rent ATV, quite cheap. If you are not afraid of heights this is a truly cool waterfall to...More

Quick trip to visit falls. Hike was a bit scary due to slippery rocks from rains. But was well worth it once there. Great experience!

We went there with our surf instructer Manuel from Young Vision surf school. He's a local and showed us different paths and provided explanations about wildlife and spots to jump in the falls pool. Water was brown due to the recent rainfall. I would have...More

The hike was a little challenging. The water was brown. It was the rainy season so that could be why. I didn't get in the water because it was so brown. The waterfall was pretty. Just not something I would revisit.

We visited the falls today following a massive storm so the paths were very slippery. There were points we had to cross the river barefoot and climb vertical slippy path but it was worth it. The falls are beautiful!

We took the Sun Trails entrance (about $4 per person) instead of the free, but very steep and muddy free trail. Totally worth it after seeing the free trail and talking to others who used it. Lots of stairs, especially if you go down to...More

The hike is relatively easy, although it was challenging for my first-time-hiker gf. All in all, very much worth it! The swimming hole is fresh, calm, and inviting. It can get crowded, but rotation of visitors is high so you can get the pool for...More
