I highly recommend this hike. We were there for about 5 hours and hiked the whole time. Great network of trails with amazing views. Saw some wildlife, not too much but the forest itself was amazing. Definitely worth the price!

Nice hiking through the forest with different paths of varying lengths. A few beautiful viewpoints but we didn't see any wildlife which was a little disappointing. We didn't get a guide, and perhaps there would have been a better chance of seeing animals with one,...More

Cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. I would definetly hire a guide. They make the time there much more than a walk in the forest! They will see things you would walk by, and get you a great photo using their telescope. Very...More

We had a heck of a time finding good hiking trails anywhere else we traveled in Costa Rica. These trails were GORGEOUS. We spent a full day hiking. We saw the Continental Divide, which was all cloudy when we got there. But we waited 10...More

My husband & I toured the Cloud Forest Reserve today with a Reserve guide named Dennis! I would highly recommend paying for a guide as you miss so much doing it on your own. Dennis was a walking encyclopedia of knowledge & was wonderful at...More

We had the benefit of having a very experienced guide all to ourselves. We saw several quetzales, which are truly beautiful birds, and other wildlife. Well worth the trip!

Toured without guide. Wanted to go very slow and take pictures so group tour was not going to work. Enjoyed the Sendero Bosque Nuboso and Wilford Guindon trails. Not too steep but still up and downs and some uneven walking surfaces, so if you have...More

We had a morning tour with Oscar. As with every guide we came across, his knowledge was astounding. He lead us (in a group of 8) around the cloud forest spotting things that we would never have seen otherwise. Two dufferent nesting hummingbirds. Three Resplendent...More
