Casa Cecropia is the new project of biologist and master guide Rafa Robles. We offer the chocolate tour and canoe tour for wildlife observation. We offer also a jungle cabina for rent.Come and enjoy the world of chocolate, its delicious aroma, and learn about its history. You will participate in the chocolate making process, taste the cacao beans and how these small beans are magically converted into a rich tasting chocolate drink and bar.

Definitely worth a visit if you are going to Tortuguero. It's located right at the beginning of town near the national park offices. Spend the 30 minutes for a really interesting history of the region and a demonstration of cocoa roasting by a knowledgeable biologist.
