Alma Verde Cahuita is an organic Medicinal Plant and local fauna Sanctuary, created with the intention of rescuing the local traditional preventive medicine, and protecting local fauna in 6 hectares property plus 15 hectares of primary forest. We offer Eco-Tours: medicinal plants, snorkeling, hiking, bird watching, dolphins, turtles nesting, frogs, reptiles, toucans, primary forest. We have a tea room and relaxing area, herbal sauna, chocotherapy, massage, yoga & meditation, reiki, natural products, caribbean food cooking demonstrations and degustation, group events. Located 200mts from the beach and 4 km north from Cahuita town.

One of the most unique and interesting tours! Hernandez is so knowledgable about the plants and living in harmony with nature. He also showed me his process for making chocolate and offered some samples! Best chocolate, made from scratch!
