You can taste before buying AND THE FOOD IS GREAT. The souvenirs are expensive although some are quite unique. I never o the tour, just a walk around and eat is a noce afternoons trip

Interesting to see the process of growing and roasting coffee. Friendly tour guides. Price of $25 is a little steep for what you get especially since it is basically a promotion of the product and nearly every buys products in the gift shop.

It's in Heredia but kind of out of the way, best to use a taxi to go and you can return by bus.
