My 14 year old brother and I went out into the surf on Boogie Boards and my brother got caught in a riptide and was taken out pretty far. I went out after him because he was panicking and isn't a strong swimmer. I had...More

Stunning sunset at the beach. You can enjoy at “Bar Be” a cocktail watching the sun set, for a very convenient price.

Had a great time learning to surf at Tamarindo Beach. Great access and not to crowded. Lots of vendors walking the beach with their favorite drinks and souvenirs. There are many restaurants and bars that have beach front access. Great family beach.

We stayed at Villa Verde II in Tamarindo. It's a 10 minute walk to the beach and close to downtown.
