The zipline adventure is breathtaking. Even for the faint hearted (as my scared-of-heights husband will testify), it’s well worth a go! The views of the volcano and lake when we were there were superb (we were lucky enough to be in the sunshine!) but the staff and guides are the stars of the show. Enthusiastic, encouraging and very obviously hugely passionate about what they do, they really will try everything they can to make your visit a success. We found the hanging bridges / guided walk element fine (and only a $20pp increase to the ticket price to have it bundled together), but there is less to see on the trail (although our guide, Maddy was outstanding), so if you only have time to do one activity, I’d recommend sticking to the zip lines.

My wife and I booked the Sky Limit portion of Sky adventures and we recommend everyone to do the same. As an american this adventure was great, both guides were bi-lingual and knowledge about the rain forest. The combination of ziplining, waterfall repelling, rope bridges, and tarzan rope swinging over waterfalls cannot be understated. We had a truly unforgettable time at Sky adventures with Levi and Manual and would suggest this park to anyone visiting the La Fortuna area.

This place is great! Our guides were amazing. You go on 7 total zip lines with the first and last being short and easy. The sixth one was our favorite. The views are great. When it’s raining it is still fun but you will get wet and muddy on the zipline. I recommend bringing a secure waterproof phone case with your phone and strapping your raincoat over it. Their photographer is good, and they provide go pros. The footage is amazing and costs $35. Both video and photos combined cost $60.

We prepaid for our tour and received confirmation. Then, about 12 hours prior (8.30pm) we received cancellation notice, because we hadn't contacted them?! (Why would you have to contact them once you have a confirmation???) We had only wifi capabilities and by the time we saw the message, they cancelled our prepaid, confirmed reservation. I think they overbooked their tour... Be very careful booking them - or have a backup plan in place! Lucky for us we found a much better option for way less money who was much easier to work with.

This was the best company to experience our first zip line with! We are a family of 5 (3 kids 9-13). The guides (Aaron, Christian and others) were attentive and made this the most amazing experience. Our youngest child is small and rode with a sibling or a guide. Safety and fun were their major objectives for the day. Covid protocols were excellent. All guides wore masks and there were small groups to minimize the waiting time on each platform. The go pro rental and professional photos were great and worth the price.
Overall this was an awesome day!

We started with the walk through the rainforest at 9am. It was an amazing experience. Our guide Marco was like the walking encyclopaedia of everything flora and fauna of Costa Rica. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to all the different bits of info he shared with us. Hike took about 3.5hrs across approx 4 or 5 hanging bridges and was 5km long. We had a half an hour break before we started zip lining at 1pm. WOW!!! When can I go again??? I loved it! I love going fast and being up high so it just made sense that I’d enjoy this activity. Fastest zip line is 80km/hr and I still wanted to go faster!! Definitely an experience to have when you visit! My partner is not a fan of heights and he enjoyed it. The guys working the zip line were funny and kept the energy light and jovial whilst also keeping us safe. Thanks to the team Levi, Giovanni, Aaron, Alejandro and the others (I’m sorry I can’t remember your names) especially the funny fellow who nicknamed us all motorbike names hahaha!

We have done a zipline in the woods of U.S., but there is nothing that compares to Sky Adventures in Costa Rica. You are above the trees, that high. For real - 600 feet up from the ground and 3,000 feet above sea level. It is insane. Total exhilaration with tinges of panic you will die. Possibly the closest thing to flying without a hang glider or wing suits. Nothing between you and the ground except air and speed. We felt safe the entire experience, walking from platform to platform. The guides were patient and skilled. The restaurant by the sky tram is a spectacular view of Lake Arenal. The photo/video deal is a song compared to what Disney or any Hawaii boat trip charges you - it's like $75 for the full visual pkg? I would recommend wearing long shorts or pants and pockets with zippers if you do want to bring your own phone to take photos. But the guides will tell you many cell phones are on the Arenal mountainside... This zipline excursion is a must if you're visiting Costa Rica and can handle heights...

My teenaged nieces and I zip lined while my 80 y.o. Mom went up the ski tram with us, and down the sky tram with a wonderful guide who accompanied her and answered all her questions about the natural surroundings and provided her with much information about Costa Rica. She loved it and felt very cared for.

The zip lining was just OK. I’ve been on more awesome zip lines in CR. Their marketing says 7 lines but really it’s only 5 because the first and last really don’t count. The equipment is great, and braking doesn’t require a hands on the cable. It’s very cool to be that high up in the cloud forest, but the lines are not as epic or numerous as others in the Arenal region.

The on-site photographer was really excellent. Overall a very professional operation.

In summary, we had a good experience and the sky tram and hanging bridges make it a great option for a group with mixed interests and capabilities.

We did two activities with Sky Adventures. Drove to the venue and mini bused to the bike centre. Given the appropriate sized bike. Crash helmet. Bottle of water and off we went to cycle around Arenal Lake. The roads were tarmac to begin but soon faded to gravel &’potholes. Tricky terrain along with cars passing by & trying to change in lo lower gears. The ride terminated either with a walk through a river ? Not sure I’d want wet feet for the rest of the day, or a serious hill climb.
After this, we cycled to the launch area of the lake for kayaking. We had chosen a double kayak. I was put into a life jacket for which I was fastened into it !! Can’t remember the last time some one did up my clothes for me. Presented to the kayak and off we went. The day was hot and it was Sunday. The world and his wife were out with jet skis, speed boats and trailing donuts and the wake which followed each one was like a small surname !!!! We battled over to the far side to look for monkeys who were sadly on an away day. Then battled back against a prevailing wind. It was obvious we had a time scale and we rowed like Hawaii 5 0 the best we could. Handed back kayaks and taken back to the car park & our car. We all enjoyed it very much, our guide was patient but I felt we were under pressure to be here / there by X time so no dallying along the way.

We took the Tram Ride up the mountain (about 10 minutes) and hiked down (about an hour). We saw ZERO wildlife. Not a frog, not a bug, not a monkey. I wouldn't have thought that even possible. Our guide on the way up spoke little English, and didn't seem to either be able to communicate his knowledge, or didn't know a lot about it. Instead of pointing out and naming plants or regions, he pulled out a map and started talking about volcanoes in Costa Rica around the country. For crying out loud man, tell me what I'm looking at OUTSIDE the tram. Price was too much for a 10 minute ride when it really did NOT come with a knowledgeable guide.
