I would say don't make a special trip but worth a look if passing nearby anyway. Gardens are neat and make a good photo.

When you think this cathedral was being built about the same time Benjamin Franklin was writing newspapers and before the U.S.A. was a country, it's amazing. It's a pretty church, but there's not a lot to look at. I would stop by if you're in...More

Lovely church with an inspiring in Mass even though it was in Spanish! Absolutely packed. We went back the next day to be able to see it in solitaire.

This is my second visit to this place. The church is quite simple but full of historical value for the region. The Franciscans kept many artifacts in the adjacent museum from their stay here; interesting for history buffs.

What a treasure! The Fransicans left a trove of art and religious icons from the last several centuries in this OLD church and museum. Very interesting!!!!

Nice small church with a really small but interesting museum, you can read a lot about Orosi history, and you can see several archaeological pieces, the church itself still in use which is impressive. Overall a must visit if you come to Orosi.

Beautiful church with lots of history. It is the oldest functioning church in Costa Rica, Be sure to visit the museum next door.

This church was built in the late 1700:s. Located a couple of hundred of meters from the termal springs in orosi, this is an obvious second stop when in the village. Quite interesting and very beautifull church.

This is the oldest building you can find in Costa Rica. Built in 1743 during the colonial period. The tiny museum has some religious antiques. This place is worth a visit since is located in a lovely small Valley where you can find some other...More
