It's a nice place to visit for a few minutes. The gates were all locked so all we could do was peek in. It looked very peaceful inside. Outside, there were tons of garbage laying everywhere, there's a big area to sit in. Overall, nice...More

Adjacent to Cartago's plaza mayor are the ruins. Basically the remnants of what must have been a colossal building. Inside the former church they made a nice park, but it is not open to the public. At least not most of the time (people who...More

A place with a lot of history. An unfinished church...destroyed, ruins. A common meeting place for many, hardly missed because because is right at the center of Cartago. If you're lucky to find it open, enjoy a 5 minute walk inside.
