As locals, we have the good fortune to be able to try several different hot springs. We have been to Baldi and Los Lagos and like Ecotermales the best, by far! The best part of Ecotermales is that they require reservations. This results in low...More

Absolutely beautiful thermal waters. We visited for the second time recently. We were happy to see one of the friendly and hospitable owners again. The supper buffet was delicious. If you’re in the area, this should be a place you visit!!

I've done hot springs in multiple countries and am not someone who really looks forward to one. But decided to do it, because everyone said I should. This turned out to be the highlight of our trip. This place is so tranquil and relaxing, I...More

This was a great afternoon experience. It was laidback with about 30 other people there. The 5 pools went from 42c to 38c. The setting was amazing and it was great to rest after each pool looking up through the canopy of trees. It had...More

Spent the morning relaxing in the hot pools. We arrived just after 10:00 and stayed until 14:00. The mornings are quiet so it was a good time to visit. Definitely recommended, beautiful grounds.

We loved this hot springs park! Beautiful setup, lush greens and wonderful hot spring pools. The price included a lunch served by a friendly staff. Would defiantly go back!

We had heard mixed reviews about the dinner at these places so we opted to eat in town and then show up a bit later for our 5-10 session. Great planning, as it would turn out. It was really busy at 7 but by 8...More

The visit to these hot springs was included as part of a package with a volcano hike. The hike was in the afternoon which meant we had the evening in the hot springs followed by a buffet dinner there at 8pm. The whole place was...More

We just went on our own schedule, you don’t need to be there exactly at 10. On the other hand, we were and almost had the place to ourselves.

Shouldn’t be a problem. The main roads around there seemed easy to follow and not bumpy/pot holed. The road to Arenal volcano was very rocky so I would avoid that one in the dark. We also did the springs in the evening and... More
