The cathedral was beautiful like most other cathedral. What amused us were the hundreds of little parrots that gathered in the trees around the church and on all the outside walls. If venice has pigeons then San Jose had parrots

A very beautiful cathedral with stunning gardens in Alajuela's main square. I would definitely recommend a visit.

We visited on a Saturday afternoon. Many local people were strolling the walkways eating from the vendors. There was music and people were dancing and it was like visiting a small town many years ago when people were more social. definitely would visit this area...More
