It's not very big place to explore but is good to have a few hour walk if you have time. Must try the dumpling, it is very delicious and famous from this place. Try to come during non holiday to avoid the crowds.

Still remember the lovely square and street. Some amazing brands stores on these streets. Local souvenirs can easily be found and some good places to eat. Must see this place for great shopping

It's very nice and well put together but just feels like another reconstructed old tow with some pretty features, shops and restaurants all there to catch tourists. Worth a visit but not anything particularly special.

For tourists interested in old flavour of Shanghai, two things come to mind. 1. Qibao Old Street, 2. Around Yu Garden. But most of them miss out Nanxiang Old Street, which is away from the hustle and bustle of large crowds and tourists. Easily reachable...More

It was a little bit of a trip and we drove about 30 minutes to get here from downtown. It is one of the older sections and I could see how it could have actually been a different town before Shanghai became so large. The...More

I went there by Metro so hard to say about the drive. I don't speak any Mandarin but it was still a lovely day so I wouldn't be worried.
