Went here for brunch. Avo is upstairs, Dram is downstairs. Not crowded and sat immediately. We sat, waited, waited and waited, being totally ignored by wait staff. We finally got a waitress to stop and take a drink order. She got that wrong! Coffee in...More
AVO/Dram is one of my favorite restaurants. It is only a few blocks from my house so I eat there often. They have one of the best hamburgers in town. This week I was REALLY lazy and ordered a burger & sweet potatoes to be...More
We stopped in at Dram for a late afternoon drink before going out to dinner. They have a nice selection of local beers and nice wine selection. Atmosphere is convivial and it's a fun place to just hang out. Always a favorite when we are...More
Dram is a cool spot right in the center of Mountain Brook Village. The restaurant is centered around a large bar and is a great place to grab dinner by yourself or with a group. Dram has one of the best burgers in town and...More

Thanks so much for your awesome review! We are so glad you had a good time and that you like the burgers and the patio. Thanks for taking the time to say it, it made our day!
We had been wanting to try this and dropped in on a Wednesday evening with friends. I'm not actually a whiskey drinker so can't comment on the offering ls there. I can say that this place can really do a burger, they have several options,...More

Hey there! Thanks so much for the nice review! We are so glad you enjoyed the burger and okra fries! Sorry for the confusion on avo and dram. They operate together, same ownership. Avo tends to be closed around the 4th of July and other...More
My husband and I do enjoy a good whiskey so we thought we would check it out. Not only was the whiskey great, the food was outstanding as well. But do not let the name fool you! They have many more options than just whiskey

Thank you for the awesome review! We are so glad you enjoyed your time with us, hope to see you again soon!
The location and interior are very peasant. There is also an outdoor patio. Good selection of beers, scotch, and bourbon. Pours are highly regulated in Alabama apparently. Service was good. We didn't try the food.
Can we take a minute to talk about how beautiful the interior of this place is? Natural shiplap?! Please! So I had the lamb burger after reading reviews and it did not disappoint. It paired perfectly with the sweet potato mash and yin-yang martini. Perfect...More
I am a scotch drinker and they serve both Lagavulin and Laphroaig! So hard to find these served at a restaurant. The Dram burger was out of this world and the truffle fries were to die for. I will return to Dram during my next...More
Food was just okay, the bar area is full and they put us in the fru-fru restaurant up stairs with the same menu. The restaurant area was dark. The service was very slow between courses, drinks went dry several times. Whiskey selection was constantly out...More
