Quite dull museum, far too much writing and long chunks of texts. The only positive was that it was ridiculously cheap! Only go if you are really interested in Malaysian politics - but even then you will learn more from a wikipedia article than you...More

UMNO was the dominant party in the ruling coalition since Malaysia achieved its independence in 1957 until recently. I was partly amused there is a museum dedicated to a political party in a series of museums along Jalan Kota at the St Paul hill foot....More

Closed most of the time even when sign shows Open. Also the sliding entrance door has been out of order for ages. Knocking is useless: you have to force the sliding glass to come in. The staff doesn't seem to bother with the door issue....More

The museum is a bit boring & they are not operating according to the time table. It's closing before lunch hour during my visit

This museum is somehow boring, it's not really attractive for tourists. They need to do some upgrade. Mostly I only come inside for the air con, since it's freakin hot outside during day.

Very Old school Building but the Museum need to be updated with the current affairs within the Politic Party. Seems like they need more marketing or Promo since it looks abandoned and not many people in the Museum. Still worth for some site visit

This is actually a very big text book of the history of Umno. Umno played a very long and significant part in the Malaysia history, but again, reading text and picture is not as exciting as it was during the past. Management should do something...More

this state is where the 1957 proclamation of independence was held. Sad to say that not many people come to visit this museum to learn the history of our country independence. It was UMNO together with the coalition parties that bring Tanah Melayu to independence...More

The building was nice but the museum itself was rather boring. Would be better if it has more recent content as well.

We recently visited Malacca and stepped into the UMNO Museum, which is positioned along Jalan Kota street in between the Architecture Museum of Malaysia and the Stamp Museum, at the bottom of St. Paul's Hill. The UMNO (United Malays National Organization) Museum movement provides a...More
