We were so glad to find an authentic store where we could talk to the craftsman and buy original pieces. A rare find in the tourist hotspots of Malaysia! Love the three prints we have and wish we bought more. Highly recommend a visit.
Hueman is a great little community store that sells and supports crafts created by Malaysian indigenous communities as well as other locally made products. Much more then just touristy souvenirs this little gem is a great place to find something a little more unique.
You will find that the you walk from shop to shop in Jonker Street that you get a strong feeling of Deja Vu. The same products are being sold in a lot of the shops and it's difficult to find anything original or authentic.

Hard to spot but worth the look. No big sign but on main thoroughfare - 9 Jalan Tokong. He's a printer. Lovely prints and souvenirs for sale at reasonable prices. Nice batik gifts. Quirky interior. Very friendly reception.
