This large and lovely park is the heart of downtown Huntsville. The spring area is shady and cool and the meandering paths by and over the ponds give a spacious open feeling to the city. Numerous seating areas and several fountains add to the charm.

This park is great for an afternoon walk/jog, lazing in the sun, or sightseeing around the museums. So picturesque that it is the go-to venue for local Homecoming and Prom pics twice each year.

Enjoy walking around this big park. Stroll over the red bridge and watch the resident ducks swimming in the pond. Have a picnic and enjoy the scenery. Good for all ages.

Smack in the middle of everything, Big Spring Park is close to attractions, food and is a perfect place to simply rest and take in the views.
