i had heard many good things about mike's deep sea fishing charters and they held up to the hipe. we went out on a snapper deep sea fishing trip and they put is right on top of the fish. it was my wife's first red snapper fishing trip so i was excited to see the look on her face trying to reel in the big one's. the captain and firsts mates were amazing and helped in every way possible. we will definitely be back next year!!!!…

I’m gray haired and a little jaded when it comes to fishing. I have fished both fresh and saltwater for more than 50 years with casting, spinning and fly tackle. I’ve fished the Ozark tail races in winter at night when 10 lb brown trout barely raise an eyebrow, and have caught 100 Spanish on flies from the Perdido Pass jetty in an hour, or so it seamed. So when I say that Captain Mike’s crew on the Escape are as good as it gets, you can be sure it’s not a reaction to a good fish or even one good day. Our trip started out a little rough with sloppy seas and slow fishing, but the crew hung in there with a group of pretty seasoned anglers and it all came together the second night out. What impressed me most was the deck crew fishing for the love of it when most of the anglers were in their racks for a couple hours rest before the dawn bite. To knock off the Delta Airlines commercials,.... “they love to fish,...and it shows.”…

Would only use Captain Mike! The whole group is great! We always do they 6 hour trip with Captain Skip on THE ESCAPE no one better on DI.

I’ve made Captain Mikes an event for years. They have all become good friends, and we love to see them when we step on the dock. Unfortunately, fishing is a tough business and requires the weather to cooperate. I appreciate the team for putting our safety first and canceling the trip instead of trying to push it in order to make a big payday. I only sail with this team, and especially Skipper, because I don’t settle for second best. We will be back next year.…
