Wow....another beautiful and famous Beach in Chennai. Many local and foreign tourist like to visit and enjoy the waters here. We did not spend much time but we love the it. Just beautiful.

It is old name for Besant nagar Beach now called "Bessi" by youngsters. Elliot's memorial is on this shore.

The Elliot's Beach is another popular beach in Chennai besides the popular Marin Beach. Many locals & foreign tourist visit this beach. Nice and cool in the late evening for a walk. A must see beach.

Its a good beach for morning run or evening strolls. Beach is not that clean but okay to go. You can get street food nearby.

If you can't take the overcrowded Marina beach , just visit Elliott's. It's in Besant nagar and still unexplored by the outside tourists so very clean and calm. It still gets crowded on weekends so try to visit it on a week day. The entire...More

No. There are no changing rooms around. but there are cafe available nearby where you can use the washroom. But i am not sure if they will allow.

Beach open, 24*7 , But be prepared to carry identification documents with you, as police presence past Midnight is intense, and security checks are mandatory beyond Midnight. Have a nice and pleasant evening

no permission is needed for shooting.for for making short films or videos for professsional purpose i think u need permission
