Really informative hands on insight into the whole process of organic block printing from the manufacturing of the indigo dyes, carving of the blocks to actually printing our own design on fabric

Walked the alleyways of Old Jaipur and found it thoroughly interesting. Visited a metal worker, flour grinder, bangle maker and the general hoveli area. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable and made the walk most enjoyable.

This was a great, authentic way to see a local village working. We followed the block printing process right from the blocks being made, the dying of the fabric to printing our own piece of fabric. We had an excellent guide with very good English....More
