The Park was opened back in 1910 to honour the coronation of King Nikola, and its new look is a donation by the Government of Azerbaijan, as a gift to the Capital. The Park houses the busts of Bozidar Vukovic Podgoricanin – a state official at the court of Ivan Crnojevic, Azerbaijani poet Hüssein Cavid, as well as a large light-lit fountain and a children’s playground.

I was happy to see that at least this park was well taken care of, even if many other attractions in Podgorica are being neglected. It has a beautiful fountain, there are many benches to rest, read a book and enjoy the calm. There are...More
