On the shores of Moraca, there is a monument erected to honour the famous Russian poet, theatre and film actor and writer Vladimir Visotsky, who resided in Podgorica while working on a film for the erstwhile Titograd TV station. He expressed his love for Montenegro in his poem ''For the Montenegrins'', and this is his only monument outside the borders of the former Soviet Union.

It was funny and nicely to find this monument in this country. But his head is rather big. The place, where it's situated, is beautiful - near the river and two bridges: Moscow and Millenium.

Quite a telling tale lies beneath this Dylanesque artist. Unfortunately his life ended all too soon hence the skull at his feet. Nice location high up on the wall of the Moraca River gorge with the Millennium Br as a backdrop

The monument is nice however out of place. He was like a Bob Dylan breaking out of the Russian stranglehold on art and that is why we celebrate his short life. He was a candle burning from both ends and burned very hot. Sadly he...More

This is located near the millenium bridge. In the sunshine it's very shiny. Go take a look at the monument. Wasn't sure what it's for. Has a man playing a guitar with a skull by his foot. Worth a read up beforehand to see what...More

This monument is very close to the Millenium bridge crossing the Moraca river. It is a special statue, but personally I mostly enjoyed that you could see the fantastic scenery with the surrounding mountains in its frame while you were looking at it.

Nice park with this monument at 100 m for Millenium Bridge. This isn't a top tourist attraction for Montenegro!

This is a nice monument right next to the Russian-Montenegrin Friendship Bridge. If you don't know anything about Russian culture, it might not be that interesting to you, but anyway, it's nice.

He's some russian poet, and for some reason there is his monument in Podgorica. On the other hand it is near the river, and there are some benches around the monument where you can take some rest during sunny day..

This is a nice enough statue but I don't know who this guy is and I couldn't read the plaque so that didn't help me much - looks like he must have been a local rock star

A poet of that status should have some more interesting memorial, maybe an interactive activities, maybe just playing the songs
