Walk or take a taxi to the end of Somone past the large not particularly attractive Baobab hotel and you come to the lagoon. There is a booth to pay a conservation fee entrance cfa1000 per person. You will be quickly approached by people with...More

Just stayed the entire day for a quite moment of relax. Service is good and staff is incredibly kind and gentle. Of course this is a turistic attraction, very different from the real Senegal, but it's worth if you're looking for an all inclusive place.

Nice to see for anybody who like birds and nature. Take a one houre boat trip from behind Royal Horizon Baobab hotel restaurant (10€/person). Ask first when is the best time to go (the tide) and arrange the trip.

perhaps March isnt the best time to go as there were not many birds. However, the experience of walking through the mangroves is magical and the time on the boat was peaceful

Lots of birds and a tranquil place to be. Did a boat tour from Dangane. A nice day activity. Pricing was on the high end compared to other Senegal activities.

It was a nice boat trip. Not expensive and we had a nice guide. We have seen a lot of beautifull birds and some cool pelicans.
