The tower of Golia is 30 m height. The visitors who want to have a panorama view of the city have to climb 130 stairs. The tower is one of the city's symbols.

This place is very nice and impressive. If you want to have a panoramic view, you should climb in the tower and pay for the entrance.

Golia is an orthodox monastery built in the 16th century that looks like a medieval fortress. It's not far from the city centre but you can also get here by tram. You can climb in the tower and get a panoramic view of the city.

The monastery is an example of medieval architecture through construction, painting and composition. Its walls and the bell tower complete the entire monastery. At this monastery was Ion Creanga deacon.

This beautiful church sits in a walled-in compound and gives opportunity for a quiet retreat from the busy streets outside. Entering the church is free. But do pay a modest amount to be escorted up to the belltower where you get great views not only...More

Impressive interior with nice paintings, but the exterior garden is not well taken care of. The tower can be visited and the view from the top is nice, even if tall and ugly comunist buildings spoil a little the landscape

It is a nice and beautiful monastery with great wall paintings and amazing icons. Beautiful gardens surrounds it. It was built in mid 17th century. From its tower - 30m high - you can have a great view of the city.

The Monastery is so well kept! Walking around the gardens is a unique experience! Building with painted ceilings and very old icons. Worth visiting is you are in the area!
