We came with our children, and it was a long and hard hike for them but when we reached the end, it was worth it. We took lots of pictures and our children said it would be perfect if we were new explorers. The view was...More

This is the best part of our trip in Sagada! The views are amazing and the trek is manageable for a not-so-active person like me. There are far less crowd compared to Kiltepan and you have a wider viewpoint to appreciate the sea of clouds.

The hike in the dark was certainly worth it. Call time’s really early as it involves travel by jeep/van to the base of the mountain and hiking the rest of the dirt path up. It is recommended that sightseers check the time of sunrise beforehand...More

The early morning (3:30am) wake up time is well worth it. Unlike kiltepan which is just a short walk from town, Marlboro country takes around 45 minutes from the parking drop-off. Walking in the dark forest at the wee hours involves hair raising thrill especially...More

Upon hearing the 4am call time to hike was really deadly. Walking in a dark, cold and foggy forest met our deadly expectation. But reaching Marlboro Country where bonfire and with hot coffee and lugaw awaits, it was indeed a physical reward. And the sunrise...More

We went to malboro country in the morning to view the sunrise.....which we did not see for how cloudy it was. Anyhow we then hiked to Blue Hills and that was probably the highlight of the visit. The nature and surprisingly clean environment was very...More

We were picked up by the van that we rented for this tour at 4:30 AM. We were a group of 5 and joined a group of 4 so we only paid 150 each for both van and guide. We made sure we already had...More

To enjoy the walk and the views, allow 4 hours minimum for this trip. When you get to Marlboro Country, you'll see a stunning 360-degree view of the mountains. Walk for another 45 minutes and you'll come across Blue Hills - a very unique landscape...More

Well we went here without a guide. First you have to walk about 30 minutes dirt road and after that there is a path to Marlboro peak. I think it was not a hard walk. I think anyone who does some sports can easily make...More

When you visit a town or a city for the first time, there's always a particular memory of an experience that's on top of all the memories you have of that visit. For me, that's when I set foot in MCBH. The hike, the wait...More

Hi Mariella. You can hire a guide. :-) But if you are on a budget, you can try it on your own. There's a trail that will lead you to Marlboro. Make sure to bring a lot of energy coz it's gonna be a long hike.
