Lets review it by parts. The OASIS is infested with tourist, and tourist attractions. The have pedals boats on the lake which for us were the worst part of the view. Pointless for the size of the oasis and damaging the view. It need a...More

I am not really into dune buggies so I was not that keen on this tour, until I did it. Our small tour group of ten were loaded unto a large dune buggy which then set out for an hour or so of climbing up...More

It really is a little oasis amidst huge sand dunes... just a few kilometres’ walk from Ica city centre. I went there for sunset and after climbing up to the top of the dunes running straight down is great fun. Not to be missed.

We really enjoyed our stay in Huacachina. The oasis is really pretty and I loved the view from our terrace restaurant in the morning light. Our one regret is not hiking to the top of the dunes to see the sunset. We always arrived back...More

Super beautiful place to hang out a couple of days and explore the desert by dune buggy or walking. Not overly crowded and not overly large. Beautiful though are early morning walks around the lagoon and up the dune for a spectacular view

You should wear pants!!!! the sand burns you! but depends on what time you want to come to Ica. The summer is from December to February! Buy sunscreen, sunglasses and enjoy your trip!

I stayed in the Hosteleria Suiza in Huacachina in March, they take bookings over the internet. The hotel is comfortable, has a pool, and the location is very nice. Ica is a bit nasty, no reason to stay there.
