Excellent location because it’s minute away from the train station. They sell a variety of things at an affordable price.

As soon becomes apparent, all of the "markets" have the same stuff. This one id little different from others we have visited. It is a good walk way to get out of the rain to get you to the restaurants!

However, we did need a cheap rain poncho to replace a lost one--they had them at a decent price.

You will either love it or hate it. Personally I love these intimate local markets. Yes they are all selling pretty much the same thing and more expensive but this is their lives. Really enjoyed mooching about

A heap of very disproportionately expensive junk shops that selling to some gringos an unnecessary souvenirs for a huge price.

Tourist trapped while waiting for the train! Actually you have to pass through it going off the train. Everything a tourist might or does not need. I imagine one can assert they bought it at Machu Picchu rather than another tourist bazaar.

I was hoping to find authentic hand made items. Instead mass produced junk. The whole market could be brought down to 3 stalls and have the same variety to pick from.

Perfect location with a diversity of souvenirs for family and friends when you don’t have anything else to do while waiting for the train. But this market is more expensive than Cuzco.

There are many vendors and lots of repetition but if you look carefully, you can find some unique items.

It is a market very busy with souvenirs shops, right in front of the railway station. It feels like a duty free area in an airport. One of the many market one sees when visiting the Sacred Valley
