Just do it! We went with Amazing Borneo tours and they delivered an experience we will cherish forever. In addition to the Turtle experience we also got to experience serene beach with crystal clear sea.

Of course the turtles are the stars of this destination, and having the privilege of watching a momma turtle lay her eggs and watching the hatchlings make their way to their new live was awesome. Our wait was quite long (1 am) and there are...More

We visited here for one night. It was booked months in advance, as my husband had done some research and there is only a maximum of 40 tourists allowed on the island each night. As it happened we were very, very fortunate as there were...More

Highly recommended. It was incredible to see a turtle lay eggs and to also see the tiny ones be released into the sea. It is very apparent that this is an incredibly important and genuine conservation experience. It was fascinating speaking with the researchers and...More

If you want to be assured of seeing Turtles laying eggs and the high likelihood of sending new hatchlings on their way then this is your place. If you intend on snorkeling don't expect anything much. The facilities are fairly basic but you do get...More

Excellent company with focus on the conservation & well being of the turtles & not on making money. Good service, fast boat trip across (make sure all your stuff is in drybags as boat open & everything gets wet if it rains), basic but good...More

The place itself is very pretty and there is a largish area of beach from which you can swim and snorkel. There is a bit of coral but not much to excite those who have seen proper coral reefs. We were a surprised and disappointed...More

Facilities are a bit basic but staff are really passionate about their conservation work and doing amazing things. We saw a green turtle laying eggs as well as the release of around 50 hatchlings. Both of these experiences happen most nights of the year.

This is a review that should be in two parts. Firstly the islands and the work being done with turtle conservation are amazing. The islands are beautiful although the coral is not that good anymore so snorkelling is a little boring. We had the privilege...More

We were there in October 2017 and did not see any signs of trouble. We took the boat from Sandakan and stayed the night. No sign of police or military on the Island, but we (family of 4) never felt the least threatened... More

I am not sure why you couldn't book the package. It was 3 in our travel group but we did book two rooms for our Turtle Island adventure...perhaps there are not rooms that hold 3 people together. They are quite small... More
