Located on top of a hill, this building is a credit to the Buddhist community in Sandakan. Very serene and the road in is lined both sides with concrete statues

I love visiting different religious places as I find them all very interesting, this temple although in use they invited us in, there chanting was so soothing.

This is situated on the highest spot in Sandakan ... closest to God, I am told.... It is a typical very ornate Buddist Temple and very well maintained. A usual stop for touriststo take in the view.

You have a really nice view on the bay of Sandakan from top. If the weather is good, you can have a nice blue sky. This temple seems famous also if there is Festival. Recommend for anyone who visit Sandakan.
