I really enjoyed the trip to Hoa Lu but that was because in researching the trip I learned all about the background of this place. I would recommend taking a guide so you can get the most out of it.

It is a real good tour if you are interested in Vietnam history. You can take many photos with architectural backgrounds. If you are not interested in history this will get boring

Hoa Lu with their history is a lesson for a long lasting history. Through this temple, you can understand more about the people here. It is quite near Trang An grottoes and Tam Coc so it is worth to take a look

Hoa Lu was the ancient capital, this beautifully maintained temple pays tribute to past kings. It is located a short distance from Tam Coc. Beautifully laid out gardens on flat grounds.
