This stunning temple towers above the surroundings, and is a specatcular example of Khmer influence and architecture. A must-see example of a well preserved temple. Worth renting a bike to see this and other monuments at the same time.

Just brilliant! Gave my partner and I a real insight into Thai history; the Sukhothai dynasty. It was an absolute pleasure...a dream if you like weaving around the place on a couple of bycicles. There was a particular photo we took overlooking a picturesque lake...More

The temple is stunning and well worth coming to see. You are spoilt for choice in Sukhothai but this is a "must see". It is large and you need to ensure you have time to see around it and to spend time relaxing and taking...More

This temple is in Chaliang, near the Si Satchanalai Historical Park, and I think it is the best reason to make the trip here. The khmer-style phrang is beautiful, and if you don't suffer from highness-sickness (that's me, unfortunately) you can also climb it.
