We came here to view the landscape of the northeast territorial border of Thailand, across the bridge, the river is Burmese. You could find the traffic there is busy. And there are good policy for locals to trade and transport between the area around.
We have been at Doi Wao as part of a booked tour. Not much too see here, not worth to spend much effort/money to come here. It's a buddist temple with some hindu parts (Elephant God) and a kitschy scorpion statue
