Port was nice, typical shopping outside of any cruise port. Had good entertainment and nice selection.

So this port was actually pretty nice. There were several different restaurants that were reasonably priced and several shops that were honestly not too bad as far as port shopping goes. But, it’s a very small port. If you decide that you want to venture...More

We have been here lots of times and chose to go to the beach and wanted to make a few purchases of hand-crafted items instead of mass-produced ones. Loved the band playing under the thatched roof. We found a bar that we liked but can't...More

Cruise stop for most cruise lines. If you want to see more of the island, one must take an excursion as there is not a lot to see in the port itself. Port is not different than the others with the usual bars and souvenir...More

When you disembark from your ship you will be immediately entering a very well kept shopping center which was set up for tourists wanting to buy all sorts of "treasures" to haul home. We attempted to exit the gates to see some of the city...More

I was here on a cruise stop. I would recommend you sign up for an excursion if you only have a day in port. There is not a lot to see or do so this way you can see more of the island and experience...More

Seems like this port can only accommodate 1 cruise ship. And since the other cruise ship(Royal Caribbean) was bigger they get to dock while NCL has to tender its passengers. We were on the NCL. The tender ride was about 10 minutes long. The port...More

This port was unimpressive. It didn’t have many stores. One of them sold towels. Why would I want to buy towels at a cruise port? It was small and cut off from the rest of the city. Plan an excursion when going to Coxen Hole.

While in Roatan, Honduras we took a tour to Fort Consolation right outside of the port area. (We were warned not to leave the port alone, because it is dangerous.). In the old fort is a Jade Museum. The museum was quite interesting and our...More

Qualifies as a visit to Honduras, if you're adding notches to your travel belt. Taxis on pier will drive you around Island for a fourth of Ship excursion cost. Same tours available on same vans at a much lower price on shore. People were friendly...More

This area has limited accommodations. Its a destination for cruise passenger traffic that are in port just for the day. I would suggest perhaps looking into Virgin Gorda or one of the other US Virgin Islands and try a trip... More
