This is a nice little port. It has a couple bars and lots of local shops to look through and find the perfect souvenirs. Just past all the shops is the taxi/shuttles to take you to your destination excursions. This island is beautiful, but it...More

Agree with a lot of the previous comments. Once you pass through the gates the locals appoint themselves as your personal tour guide and will not go away. We went with it and the local who called himself Papi took great delight in pointing out...More

This was definitely our favorite port stop...for many reasons! This port is so cute, with shops and restaurants and bars within steps of your ship's gangway. For sheer convenience you can't beat this port. There are also water activities and a zipline offered right at...More

We docked on the East End. Port has many things to do. Many vendors and shops all trying to get your purchase.

The colorful buildings, along with live local music, and the greenest tropical hills surrounding the area of the port are a lovely welcome to Roatán. If the sun is out, you’ll see the turquoise waters of the MesoAmerican Reef. There are places to shop, eat,...More

Port was nice, typical shopping outside of any cruise port. Had good entertainment and nice selection.

So this port was actually pretty nice. There were several different restaurants that were reasonably priced and several shops that were honestly not too bad as far as port shopping goes. But, it’s a very small port. If you decide that you want to venture...More

We have been here lots of times and chose to go to the beach and wanted to make a few purchases of hand-crafted items instead of mass-produced ones. Loved the band playing under the thatched roof. We found a bar that we liked but can't...More

This area has limited accommodations. Its a destination for cruise passenger traffic that are in port just for the day. I would suggest perhaps looking into Virgin Gorda or one of the other US Virgin Islands and try a trip... More
