This is a very unique place in Nin,
Is full of history as the legend said 7 kings were crowned in this place.
The church is been recognised as the smallest cathedral in the world.
You have to drive to reach this place, there is a parking space then is a walking path and claim a small hill.
The place is very green and beautiful
Inside is not much to see is closed

On your way from Zadar to Nin, just before entering in Nin there is this small rocky church. Even if is not bigger than a newspaper kiosk, it looks like one of the great medieval churches and that is because its location: on a small artificial hill.
The church is almost 1000 years old, is closed now and there is no fee to visit it outside and take pics anytime. Is one of the best spots for sunset in Nin.

The view from the hill on which the church is is great! The church itself is very nice and is very well maintained. It's only few minutes away (by car) from the old town of Nin. The church is unfortunately closed and you can't get inside of it, but you can enjoy it's outside. Bew aware of the bees which have a nest above the entrance door.

I wouldn't go out of my way to see this church, but if you're already passing by, you might as well stop by the nearby parking. This place has a surprisingly rich history, but nowadays it's just a small landmark. It looks pretty when illuminated in the night. I recommend going up to the church and taking in the view of the surrounding plain and the mountains. Not much to do beside that as you can't go inside.

The church is cca. 1km from the center of Nin on the left side of the street. There is a big parking space there and walkway to the church - accesible for baby carriages and maby wheelchairs. There is a smal path up to the church which IS NOT wheelchair accesible..
The church itself is tiny, but interesting - unfortunely closed for public. But due to its elevated position, it offers a great view of the surroundings.
When you wisit Nin, and you do pass it - stop and enjoy.

Read the story of the church from geocaching.com which was quite fascinating. Good parking in front of the church. But unfortunately we did not find the cache.

Worth 5 minutes to stop, but not much more. The door was closed and the view is much better from the seaside.
