We enjoyed going to this practically unknown air museum. Some of the aircraft inside the building are displayed with realistic dioramas. Outside of the building itself there are a number of aircraft displayed and around the corner in a grassy lot and behind a fence...More

Brought my 4 and 2 yr old and they loved it. It has the normal museum setup with fun, children's museum type things sprinkled in (planes they can climb in, cockpits with buttons and switches and a playroom with legos and a mock control tower)....More

My husband is a pilot and decided to go to the Southern Museum of Flight on his behalf. However, I found it equally interesting! I echo a previous reviewer who stated other than the famous Tuskegee Airman, I had no idea the state of Alabama...More

Other than the Famous Tuskegee Airman, We had no idea that Alabama had such a rich history in the early days of Aviation. A great exhibit, small and concise but it has a great scope of Aviation History. Tucked behind the Airport it is a...More

Another really nice, well laid-out, but under-visited aviation museum. The day we were there, the staff outnumbered the visitors. I actually prefer it that way for taking pictures, but it is sad to see such nice museums in need of visitors in order to remain...More

Aviation displayed at its best. If you love airplanes, this is the place to go. 100 planes to see as well as interactive exhibits and plenty of history. A must see.

Check BirminghamGroupon. We had a party of 8 and was able to get 8 tickets @ $28.00. It averaged out to $3.50 a ticket. Groupon offered a discount on top of that. So for 8 admission around $25.00 which was a good deal.
