    Amazing!!
If our family could rate this 6/5 we would!! 🤯We have SO MANY pictures and memories to share!! It’s of course perfect for the motorcycle lovers, but also car lovers! If you’re like me & just want to explore new places, it’s still worth every penny of admission!

    Well worth the trip
Best of the area, Birmingham trip was highlighted by this great place, making collection of motorcycles, cars and other gear. It was payed out very well, it flowed around from level to level, watching a few cars go around the track was great. Would like to see some additional food options on site but don’t fault the museum at all, there are options available very close. We will return

    Phenomenal collection
Exceptional museum which displays a vast collection of motorcycles from various manufacturers as well as Indy cars and a large collection of lotus vehicles. The collection includes motorcycles from various periods of time. Each motorcycle has a plaque accompanying it, which provides specific details. A true motorcycle enthusiast could spend hours at this museum. Definitely a pristine collection. There is a a theater which has a short recurring film detailing the history of the museum & its beginning. I was fortunate enough to witness Porsche racing on the day that I was there. There is a walkover the track so you can view the cars racing. There are various races held at this complex throughout the year. Exquisite museum, thoroughly thought out with all vehicles displayed for the enjoyment of visitors. Thoroughly enjoyed this top-notch museum

Wow! Great experience but hey, you guys need a cafe
We paid extra and took the guided tour and the docent was very good however, it went too long and we had to quit it early. The collection is amazing, the building beautiful and the track an extra bonus. I'm not necessarily a car/motorcycle buff but it was still delightful and the curated sections were well done. Worth the price.

    Barbers Motorsport Museum.
Anybody who has an interest in Motorcycle history, this is the place for you. I recently spent 3 hours in the museum and easily could have spent another. My only minor complaint was a wrong year sign on a 1972 Kawasaki S2, it was marked as a 73...to those of us who have ridden, owned, restored many of these bikes it was very minor error. The bikes are immaculate! there are many race cars as well and outboard motors hanging on a long hallway...Very cool. There was a track session as well when I was there, interesting to watch from a walkway bridge over the track. Take the time make the effort, visit this place!

Over 1800 motorcycles plus 2-300 race cars!!
OMGoodness!! Motorcycles and racecars everywhere you look. Beautifully restored, ingeniously displayed. Examples of the earliest motorcycles ever built. Video recordings of Colin Chapman. Many Lotus racecars. We spent all day and would go again.

    Vroom!
This museum is a hidden gem. We have been to Birmingham numerous times to visit family and did not know about the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum. We spent 2 1/2 hours at the museum and could have spent five hours. The museum itself is beautiful. It is designed with purpose and creativity to highlight the amazing vehicles on display. We were lucky enough to visit on a day when the track was hosting a Porsche Driving Experience class. We were able to walk out on the decks and overpasses to watch the cars while training. We will definitely return on our next trip to Birmingham.

    Motorcycle Overload
Crazy the amount of motorcycles here. A few caes and boat motors. Surprised at the low number of motocross bikes. Found a few bikes we had as kids, which brought many great memories. Wish they had a V65. It wasn't busy, while we were here mid-week and we still spent more than 3 hrs enjoying ourselves. No real eats here, but restrooms are easily accessible.

Extensive collection in a really nice facility
Great museum for anyone interested in things with wheels! We spent a couple of hours walking through the exhibits and my kids (ages 9 and 10) were not bored at all! Beautiful facility, nicely laid out, friendly staff and well-stocked gift shop. Bridge over the track leads to some paths with sculptures, benches, water features, etc. Worth a walk around. Plan to spend lots of time here!

Absolutely a must see if you have even the slightest interest in motorcycles. This place has the best of the best and the displays are some of the most spectacular I have seen. Whether you are a bike enthusiast or not...this museum will not disappoint!

Their is a reason why this attraction is one of the top things to do in Birmingham. It's not a hidden gem - it's a must do for auto enthusiasts.

My wife and I visited on a one day trip to Birmingham in September of 2023. Upon entering and paying the admission fee I can only describe the museum as if it was a life-sized display of someone's Hot Wheels collection.

Be warned though that the museum is probably 90% motorcycles and similar 2-wheeled vehicles. I'm more of a car fan but was still blown away by the displays.

This museum was fair at best. The name says vintage motorsports museum, however this is false. If it were “motorsports” there would be more of a variety at this museum. When I visited the museum it was 95% motorcycles/motorbikes.

I have been to motorsports museums across the nation and they all have a variety of Motorsports, including cars, bikes and sometimes trucks.

The majority of the slim amount of cars at this museum are not even in Motorsports, for example a plain black Ford Model T.

The few cars seen on social media outlets, such as newer Porsche 918 are able to be seen from the museum’s multiple floors, but are located in the basement which is not accessible with the personal tickets. Only used for private events or track days and that was no where on the website nor online. This information was not given to us when purchasing the tickets. Not mention the outrageous price is $22 a person for a museum that is not truly all Motorsports.

I personally will not be coming back to this museum, if you love motorcycles/motorbikes then this is your museum, but if you are more interested in cars then I would not waste the money here.

If you want to specialize in motorcycles, then don’t call your museum “motorsports”.

Cars below in the photos are some of the vehicles that we could not access… as you can see they are some unique vehicles, that I would have liked to have seen closer…. Bummer

This is the #1 place to visit if you are around Birmingham. I’m not even a race car or motorcycle person but this place is one of a kind.
