This is the site, where a supposedly imperial carriage (since it was pulled by six horses) from the Western Zhou was found. Unfortunately, this is another poorly kept and managed local museum. Poor lighting (to say the least), not well exhibited or described, and uninterested...More

I had a really good guide for this so she made it really interesting. There's a lot history to it and the actual excavation I think is worthwhile.

I didn't expect to see such a nicely presented dig site. This is one of the more important sites for Luoyang's history and the small information hall has bilingual if not multilingual descriptions.

This is a very small excavation, interesting with a little museum of artefacts. The staff are very nice and when we went it was very quiet, just before closing. If you are walking past pop in but unless you are particularly interested don't go out...More

The museum is rather small. Still, we spent about an hour and a half there. Conducting some research before going will definitely enrich your experiences. After all, we are talking about East Zhou Dynasty, well over 2000 years ago. We followed a guide to hear...More
