Found the ancient buildings to be well worth the effort of visiting. Lots to see especially if you are interested in history. Easy walking but comfortable shoes recommended.

We visited here on return from our overnight stay at Mount Huang Shan with Odyssey Tours and I must say it was very worthwhile. Crowds were manageable and the preservation authentic. Administration , schools and temples gave a glimpse of how advanced Chinese civilization was...More

Compare to other village such as Hong and Xidi village, this is less commercial activities and less crowded. This allow you to experience the village and their residence life in depth.
