It is the most unique, different and visually appealing pagoda in whole of myanmar. I was smitten ever since I saw the pictures. It never showed as must visits near Mandalay. Was still keen to go extra mile because it seemed so compelling.

Unique pagoda design makes this a must see, especially since it’s just down the road from the Mingun pagoda. Gleaming white, the pagoda has repeating sculpture elements circling the entire structure from top to bottom. Don’t miss this pagoda while in the area !
Known as the wedding cake for obvious reasons. The pagoda is very clean, probably due to the stark whiteness of the pagoda.
Apart from the pagoda, there are a few shops selling clothes, knick-nacks, etc. All very cheap.
