Unique pagoda design makes this a must see, especially since it’s just down the road from the Mingun pagoda. Gleaming white, the pagoda has repeating sculpture elements circling the entire structure from top to bottom. Don’t miss this pagoda while in the area !

Known as the wedding cake for obvious reasons. The pagoda is very clean, probably due to the stark whiteness of the pagoda. Apart from the pagoda, there are a few shops selling clothes, knick-nacks, etc. All very cheap.

Genuine treasure among Mingun region pagodas - not only because of color but also the architectural projects. Climbing up shows you beautiful view both directions to south and east to the river.

I enjoyed my visit here. The whiteness of the pagoda made it very beautiful to photograph. I probably enjoyed this the most on my day's visit to Mingun.

Hsinbyume pagoda is super. Many pagodas is very much alike and this one is different, have its own architectural style. In my opinion most impressive monument in Mandalay Ares.

My favourite pagoda so far. It’s simply beautiful. We reached here in the morning and were swept away by the sight as we approached the big white pagoda. No shoes allowed so bring wet tissues for your feet. Shops outside but water is fairly expensive.

Impressive, shining white architecture under the blue sky. Exquisite design — looks like an extravagant wedding cake from afar! You can climb to the top of the pagoda for a sweeping view of Mingun.

This pagoda has a beautiful design with the seven seas and the seven mountains. You can walk up to a a good lookout level and get a nice view of the area. It’s quite different than most of the other pagodas we saw. The village...More
