Totally worth able to visit. There are not many white temples and this one I have to say it's just beautiful. It is also considered the biggest book in the world. GO and see why! If possible check the pagoda on Mandalay Hill to get...More

It takes about an hour and a half by car if you want to go there from mandalay. It is definitely worth the trip though!! it's sooooooo beautiful.

Excitingly, this pagoda is seems to be unique. You can climb it, which is a novelty, and the design is gorgeous. However, as with all pagodas, it's in bad repair, and rather dirty.

It is the most unique, different and visually appealing pagoda in whole of myanmar. I was smitten ever since I saw the pictures. It never showed as must visits near Mandalay. Was still keen to go extra mile because it seemed so compelling. Kudos to...More

This is one of our reason visiting Mandalay. Unfortunately we cannot across the river so we have to pay more to the driver to ride us there. Nice pagoda as expected.

Unique pagoda design makes this a must see, especially since it’s just down the road from the Mingun pagoda. Gleaming white, the pagoda has repeating sculpture elements circling the entire structure from top to bottom. Don’t miss this pagoda while in the area !

Known as the wedding cake for obvious reasons. The pagoda is very clean, probably due to the stark whiteness of the pagoda. Apart from the pagoda, there are a few shops selling clothes, knick-nacks, etc. All very cheap.

Genuine treasure among Mingun region pagodas - not only because of color but also the architectural projects. Climbing up shows you beautiful view both directions to south and east to the river.
