When you walk around this place there is so much history to take in and you need a guide to explain the area. There is also lots to buy in the area as well.

The journey up to Indein Village is interesting with a lot of old broken down stupas to wander through before reaching the temple at the top. Temple is stunning and extensively refurbished or built upon.

Try to use the same boat / guide to bring you there. At the monastery there might be boats available but I can't confirm. Best to check before you get on the lake
